PURPOSE

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) outline the terms websites users (“Users”) are agreeing to when interacting with the website of Life With A Purpose (“The Business”).

 

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or using the Business’ services, products, or website, Users agree to be bound by these Terms. Users also agree to other Policies relating to all interactions with this website; these are available on this website. If Users do not agree with any part of these Terms, they may not access or use the Business’ services, products, or website. Progressing with any use of this website in any way is deemed as acceptance of these terms. Users are encouraged to read the policies prior to progressing.

DESCRIPTION OF GOODS AND SERVICES

Goods and Services provided by the Business include various digital and physical products, educational and mentorship programs, subscriptions/memberships, events, and various resources. The Business reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of these Good and Services at any time, with or without notice and in accordance with Australian law (Queensland). The Business will notify affected Users who are members or subscribers of discontinued subscriptions via email.

USER ACCOUNTS

Users may be required to create an account to access certain features of the Business’ Goods and Services. User accounts are handled in accordance with the Business’ Privacy Policy (which can be located in the website’s footer section) and Confidentiality Policy.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account and password, and for restricting access to their account. Users agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under their account. Any breach may result in termination of their access and account with written notice in accordance with Australia law (Queensland).

Users agree not to use the Goods and Services as provided by the Business for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates these Terms, Privacy Policy, Event Policy, and any Business policies. Users also agree not to:

• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of Business services, products, website, or any aspect of the Business

• Access the Business’ website or anything relating to the Business illegally and without authorisation by the Business

• Use anything acquired from or provided by the Business for commercial solicitation without prior written consent

• Use anything acquired from or provided by the Business for anything outside its intended and agreed upon use only

• Copy anything on this website in any way, including with the use of AI, for any reason

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content and materials available on this website and on any other site in connection with the Business, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, are the property of the Business or its approved licensors, and are protected by copyright and the intellectual property laws of Australia.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Except as required under the Australian Consumer Law, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Business's liability for any loss, damage, or negligence arising out of or in connection with the supply of goods or services is strictly limited to the remedies provided under the Australian Consumer Law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Business accepts no liability for any loss, damage, injury, or negligence claims resulting directly from the unreasonable misuse, alteration, or neglect of products by the User.

INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold the Business, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contributors, volunteers, and agents harmless from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or that are in any way connected with the use or misuse of anything acquired from or provided by the Business.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

PAYMENT AND REFUNDS

Payments are processed via Stripe (by card, Google Pay, and other available options) or bank transfer for approved invoices. Users are subject to the terms of these third-party financial institutions. The Business reserves the right to send reminders for late payments and proceed with debt collection as deemed appropriate for unpaid Goods and Services. By using this website, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Events Policy.

 

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with Goods and Services, you are entitled to a cancellation, refund, or monetary compensation for its reduced value. If a failure is not major, the Business will replace or rectify it within a reasonable time, or provide a refund if this is not achieved.

 

If an item has a major fault, is damaged on arrival, or is significantly misrepresented, you are entitled to a remedy. Where a product is confirmed to have a fault, the Business will cover or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs.

 

For returns based purely on a change of mind or user preference (where no statutory fault exists):

• Refund or exchange requests must be submitted in writing within 7 days of receipt.

• Items must be completely unused, in their original packaging, and in the exact condition received.

• The User is strictly responsible for all return postage fees.

• The Business reserves the right to reject change-of-mind returns that do not comply with these conditions.

 

Membership cancellations must be submitted in writing at least 7 days prior to the next scheduled payment date. If notice is provided within this period, no further deductions will occur. If notice is provided outside this 7-day window, the next scheduled payment may still be processed as the final deduction. Refunds cannot be issued for subscription periods already processed unless the Business was completely unable to render the associated Goods and Services.

CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Business reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice and as required. Where applicable, the Business may send a notification via email, or a notification will be on the website for a short period of time. The continued use of this website, and anything provided by the Business after any such changes constitutes an acceptance of the new Term.
